Dave Gahan Brings His 'Hourglass' to Our Studio

Ben LeeDepeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan stopped by our New York studio for a seven-song performance, featuring industrial-laced numbers from his new album, 'Hourglass.' The legendary New Wave pioneer's baritone vocals are arguably one of the most recognizable world-wide and with no touring plans announced, this performance serves as the only look at Gahan's pulverizing new material.

"It kind of happened almost like by accident, we didn't set out to make a record," Gahan told Spinner while speaking of the creation of 'Hourglass.' "I had this feeling inside that I needed to do something outside of the band [Depeche Mode]."
