'Used to Love Her'
--Guns N' Roses (1989)
Weapon: Rage
Gory Details: This song's antagonist reached his boiling point, which led to him taking drastic measures against his nagging lover. "I used to love her, but I had to kill her," he says, explaining why he put his victim six feet under. Seems freedom of speech means nothing so some people.

I love the song whether it was written about a woman or a dog it doesn't matter. Songs are songs and people take things way too literally. Just sit back and enjoy the song for what it is. I love listening to it, and if you don't, pass it on...

no WAY its about a dog, he was taking the piss & gullible people believed him.
L7 is NOT a punk band. Sorry, had to say that.
And I agree, no matter what Axl says, I do not believe this song is about a dog. Not at all. I never did. I think he was just tired of getting sued.
