'Goodbye Earl'
--Dixie Chicks (1999)
Weapon: Tainted black-eyed peas
Gory Details: In this vengeful tale, conspirators Wanda and Mary-Anne feed Earl one final, fatal dinner. Wanda then has to get rid of her no-good husband's no-good corpse, and who better to help her bury him by the lake than her best friend? Karma's a bitch.

I don't really like the dixie chicks but I liked this song. Domestic violence happens and too often the one being neat (man or woman) gets the short end of the stick. Too often it's the system not doing enough to help... "walked right through that restraining order and put her in intensive care..." Personally, I think earl got what he deserved.

I love Goodbye Earl and many of their other songs, no one can take away the talent they have. I'm not a big Natale fan, but she had every right to say what she thought whether we agreed with her or not, isn't that what this country is about? They did not deserve to have fans turn on them, or have there lives threatened.
I hope people come to there senses and realize what there missing.
Wrong song...A woman is tired of the abuse from her husband, so her and an old high school friend off the guy and tossed his body into a lake

If the scanks wanted to put down their country and their President they could have done that in the USA instead of hiding overseas like the whipped dogs they are now.
September 22 2008 at 4:06 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplySince they did say the same things in our country, it does envoke their rights of the 1st Ammendment. They did not put down our country as you say either, they merely apologized that Bush was from their great state of Texas. Get your facts straight! I totally join them in my feelings for Bush and the mess he's created over in Iraq. That, also, doesn't mean I don't support our soldiers defending us in Bush's war. They have no choice to be there. What's it going to take to admit to yourselves that Bush is the worst President ever? That is a definite fact that even you can't spin out of it.
