'I Shot the Sheriff'
--Bob Marley & the Wailers (1973)
Weapon: His firearm of freedom
Gory Details: An oppressive sheriff gets his due when the shooter defends his right to liberty. Sheriff John Brown draws his gun to prevent the man from leaving town, so the fellow defends himself, firing once. "I shot the sheriff, but I didn't shoot the deputy," he clarifies. Give him credit -- this man will only take the heat for what he actually did.

Song has always sucked. Hey, "I shot the car owner but I did not shoot his wife too". Okay, you can go home.
Stupid song.
Bob Marley is the best! I lisen to him every day. The man was a genious and he died to young. R.I.P. mon!
If you listen to the words, I think the sheriff killed the deputy and is getting ready to blame it on Marley/Clapton after killing him.
