Queen's Brian May Named University Chancellor

He not only will rock you, he will also school you. Putting his newly awarded Ph.D. to good use, Queen guitarist Brian May has been appointed the chancellor of Liverpool John Moores University. The 60-year-old May, already an honorary fellow of the university, will be installed in the post early next year.Having recently completed his doctorate in astrophysics, which he had put off in 1970 to form Queen with Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor, the rocker properly addressed as Dr. May called the appointment "a great honor and a great new challenge." If the university's sports teams choose 'We Are the Champions' as their fight song or the school adopts as a campus nickname the Fat Bottomed Girls, the selection of May justifies itself right there.

I think Jumpin Johosephat is just jealous. I agree with Donna's comment about just goes to show that not all rock musicians are stupid. His high intellect shows through his music. Those who don't see it, are just obviously not intelligent enough to notice!!! Sorry! :(
