Amy Winehouse Cancels Tour, Heads to Rehab?

It's been a terrifically rough year for Amy Winehouse. Drug arrests, flash rehab stints, bruises and gashes, and slurry stage blunders have all made their way to gossip magazines and celeb blogs. And while the insatiable, verging on Britney Spears-level fascination with her troubles shows no sign of slowing, it appears it may have to. Winehouse is reportedly backing out of the limelight, cancelling not only the rest of her tour, but also all promotional appearances until 2008.

So what spurred this sudden withdraw? Love. Specifically, the lovesickness she has endured after husband Blake Fielder-Civil was sent to jail earlier this month for trying to deceive authorities in the case of him beating up a local bartender.

"I can't give it my all onstage without my Blake," she stated today. "I'm so sorry but I don't want to do the shows half-heartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it's just not the same."

It was also reported that she would check into a rehabilitation program ... again.
