Donda West's Last Message to a Friend Revealed

In a voicemail message obtained exclusively by Inside Edition, Kanye West's mother, Donda, jokes about her surgery plans to her friend and hairdresser, Charlay Thomas, just one day before going under the knife:

"I am going to go have my procedure done tomorrow and I'm getting every single thing from my neck to my knees! So, anyway, call me. I'll tell you about that ..."

West died on November 10 at Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Marina del Rey, the day after plastic surgeon Jan Adams performed a abdominoplasty and breast reduction. An autopsy has yet to officially confirm whether or not the 58-year-old's sudden death was due to complications from the surgery, but Dr. Adams has offered other suggestions, such as a heart attack, a pulmonary embolism or vomiting.

Adams is currently being investigated by the California medical board for recent reports of alcohol-related arrests and malpractice lawsuits.

I feel that when you go to see a doctor, you must tell them EVERYTHING asbout yor medical history!!! Alot of times, people are not canidates for surgery because of conditions that they may have or conditions that run in the family. Many times, people want to run after the doctor and say that it was the doctors fault; but remember the doctor was not in that operating room by his self...there are nurses, another doctor, an anatheselogist and etc and she may of been in bad health with conditions that she didn't reveal to Dr. Adams.

The woman's age is enough to be an alert alone. 58 is no spring chicken. She should have had one surgery done at a time, so she could recover and then have another procedure done. She was warned by one doctor that she had health problems and he would not perform the surgery so she found one who would? Did her image matter so much she did not reconsider how important her life was? Health probs are a red flag and she ignored them. What happened to grow old gracefully? Well I could see the breast reduction as being needed, but a tummy tuck? A nice regiment of diet and exercise never hurt anyone.

There is so much hatred. This was a terrible thing to happen, but we all know that when it is our time to go...well, what can we do? Why is it that the doctor is always blamed? My sister died last month because she did not follow doctor's orders. She was constipated for a week and was told twice by her doctor's nursing staff to go to the emergency room. Well instead, she drank a whole bottle of Magnesium Sulfate...the stuff you use to clean your system for a Colonoscopy. Her magnesium level shot up and it caused a heart attack. She wasn't a well person, but she wasn't terminal, either. If you don't take care of yourself...things happen...especially when it's YOUR TIME. God bless her family and friends and give them comfort...and calm their hatred.

I wish people would grow up and realize that a life was lost. May Kanye's mom rest in peace, and please show the same respect you would want if this was your loved one.

May God comfort the hearts of Kayne's family. No one has the right to judge anybody when God gives us all the freedom of "choice".

Why should the doctor be in trouble? She knew the risks going into surgery. No one is safe under anesthesia!
