Morningwood Singer Talks Death on 'Oprah' at Age 9

Everything Oprah Winfrey touches turns to gold. Just ask Morningwood frontwoman Chantal Claret, who made an appearance on the talk show back when she was just nine years old, talking about her fears of having an unexpected death. Judging by her adventurous stage antics, we'd say Ms. Claret is doin' just fine these days.

Watch Claret's 'Oprah' appearance after the jump.

Claret is doin' just fine these days and she really has many supporter.. Does she still remain single? Maybe she need to find someone to take care of her. I prefer the rumor about her joining the online richs dating club sugarcupid is true since she can quickly find the man! Good luck to you Claret!

The spammers won't stop no matter what. I wonder if they get a lot of business that way? Somebody must be going there from here or they wouldn't do it. DON'T GO THERE, MAKE THEM GO AWAY!

When will the public wake up to the fact that Oprah Winfrey is a force for mediocrity. The woman is not even minimally intelligent, and she adds nothing of true value at all to our society. Oprah Winfrey pretends to be a promoter of literature, yet she is not versed in the elements of ligitimate literature. She pretends to be a positive influence on society, yet she can't even control her own weight. Duh.

Oprah will bring white people on her show that are the bottom of the barrel to make it look as though the white race is worse than the blacks. I am so sick of her, and her antics. She needs to portray the way it really is. I stopped watching her show along time ago, she needs to go.

I too have ceased to watch OPRAH anymore, since about 9 yrs. ago. It became apparent there was some secret agenda behind each guest that appeared. I love Oprah, I think she is genuine and kind, giving, peaceful, and thoughtful.

I dont think she is the one scheduling the guests. Ithink she provides a great show for alot of people who dont think for themselves.

I knew Oprah back in the early 80's when she lived near Baltimore and worked on a morning show called People Are Talking. She was kind and very open and polite back then, as she appears to be now. She drove a Silver Stingray, and we would run into her at the bank or deli and she always made it a point to say hello, of chat with people who recognized her. I doubt that the core personality of someone changes like some of you claim here. I honestly think what you see is what you get with her. I watch her show once in a while, and can still see the twenty something year old Oprah from Pikesville, just a little richer, and a little more famous, but over all, the same nice girl she was back then. She doesn't have a racist bone in her either, as a matter of fact. Those who know/knew her, will tell you that. Her philanthropy has covered all classes and ethnicities.

I remember watching this when my son was 10, and he is 23 now. I hope this child's parents saw how she was crying for attention in this clip--I pray that she got the love that she needed.....

    @ angel,
I can't imagine that someone who seems as domineering as Oprah wouldn't have a hand in scheduling the guests. She seems to need control, so I'm sure she would?
