According to Portishead's Web site, the band will release their first album in more than ten years this April in the U.K.

While we all wait anxiously for mp3s to trickle onto the interwebs, few will be able to hear new tracks from the British trip-hoppers this month at the Bristol Academy, where they are slated to play on December 15. The show will be their first full live performance in a decade, and is part of an All Tomorrow's Parties event that the band members themselves curated.
