Temptations-Silent Night ....how is that left off...horrible list
phoebe255fbat 12-25-2008
Otis Redding's White Christmas
this list is a popularity contest and what spinner thinks is cool.

Good choice with Stevie Wonder's song but where is his other Christmas classic? 'That's what Christmas Means to me' hearing him blow on that harmonica is what makes it a classic song.

i dont know who put this list together but it "SUCKS" some of the greatest Christmas songs were left off..White Christmas"..frosty the Snow man and most of all rudolf the red nosed reindeer?..among many others..gess list is a discrace to the christmas spirit

where are the Chipmunks how is The Christmas Song not on here
davepi777at 11-30-2008
I couldn't agree more! Many good ones not on here! I think the person who put the list together couldn't be older than 25!
turnerstkdat 11-30-2008
I had to look twice because I thought that this was a continuance of the WORST Christmas songs until I saw "Blus Christmas". There's no doubt that either Nat King Cole or Bing Crosby should be top on the list but to not even mention them is purely insane!
Next time get an adult to do the list!

Bing Crosby - O Holy Night
Bing Crosby - The Littlest Angel
Bing and David Bowie - Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth
The Boston Pops - Sleigh Ride
O Come All Ye Faithful
...Among too many others.
- I know, some are religious, but they really capture what the season is supposed to be about. I like a lot of the fun ones also...so don't go gang up on me.

This list is pure trash --- I've never even heard the number one song... but I do agree with the number two choice. John Lennon's Happy Christmas is a classic
marquep1at 12-06-2008
I agree, there are so many better Christmas songs that are not on this list. And to the comment that some may be religious, we do all realize that Christmas is a religious holiday, right? You know, the whole birth of Christ thing? Oh, Jesus.
gooiegloppat 12-08-2008
This list is absolutely terrible. "santa claus goes straight to the ghetto"?? seriously? The only good song on here is rockin around the christmas tree.
Willat 12-21-2008
I completely agree I liked more songs on the Worst Christmas songs then on this one. There were maybe 2 songs that actually resemble christmas songs on this list. I think they would have did a better job if they actually chose christmas songs instead of this bull they are trying to pass for christmas songs. Its just sad.
tailsratsat 12-24-2008
SUCKS is not the word for it, I can think of much worse. 95% of the ones that are on the "worst" list are superior to this garbage (with the exception of Billy Squier)
Markat 12-25-2008
Thank you for my Christmas LOL. Greatest Christmas Songs ever? Someone mentioned the originator of the list can't be older than 25? Can't be older than 12! Having been in radio over 30 years I can tell you that this list could only be appreciated by someone who wears his pants half-way down his ass and thinks that purposely misspelling words makes them look bad (as in Billy Badass bad). And they're the choices of a single individual, not from a voted-upon list. But what can you expect from a generation that has nothing but rap and hip-hop offered to it as "music".
