Rapper Rev Run meets a guy in the park with a beard and a dog. Turns out the dog's a reindeer, the guy is Santa, and the million bucks he leaves behind in his wallet is the year's good tidings. The sample makes this a double whammy of good cheer: It's from Clarence Carter's soul strutter 'Back Door Santa,' itself a naughty-but-nice Christmas classic.

what do any of these songs have to do with CHRISTmas. Where are songs like "silent Night" " O Holy Night" " O Little Town of Bethlehem" " Hark The Herald Angel Sings" " It Came Upon A Midnight Clear" Those are my top 5.

I like RUN D MC.
Still this song is far from #1 best, and would be past #12 (going downt his list #20 #50 and so on)on the worst list.

Why in the world would someone think that a rapper group would know how to sing a Christmas song.I own all kinds of Christmas Music.And none of them get any recognition anymore.I like Burl Ives-Holly Jolly Christmas and Bing Crosby singing Mele Kalikimaka.My favorite..Wonderful Christmastime-Paul McCartney.I see some palms being greased on the Spinner website

I agree with Yanni....Where Is Mariah Carey-All I Want For Christmas Is You..John and Yoko has been very popular.So I agree.But, where is Nat King Cole The Christmas Song.(Chestnuts over an open fire)Everyone knows that should have been on the list.Someone else needs to judge these polls better.

i never heard of 98 percent of these songs but their titles don't sound good- none of them in either list !. There are a lot of good older songs around that were not mentioned. Evidently the person who made up both lists is very young and ignorant and mostly listens to "rock type" music. This whole thing is dumb , dumb dumb! Who makes up these lists anyway; why should we care what they think?
