The BEST Christmas songs and the birth of Jesus not mentioned in any of them? I am an atheist but I still enjoy the season and I have respect for those who believe.Obviously these songs are meant for a generation far later than mine. Merry Christmas everybody.

Don't get me wrong...Fountains of Wayne is am okay band, but was this song the result of a keen sense of imaginative songwriting, or perhaps a quick cash-in on the whole "alien" craze of the mid-late 90's...?
All I'm saying is, during that time, all I saw at carnivals...toy stores...Spencers...were alien toys, statues, tshirts, etc. Maybe I just had a tainted childhood?
