Awe I love Christmas Shoes. The only bad part about that song is the creepy little kid singing at the end (lol), but I love the meaning behind the song itself.

I agree that "Christmas Shoes" and "I want a hippopotomus for Christmas are two of the worst I have ever heard. Why do they keep playing the? I want to throw up!!! I used to feel that "Grandma got run over by a rheindeer" was pretty awful, but compared to these two, it's not so bad.

I sorry but christmas shoes has special meaning to everyone who has lost a parent. The first time I heard christmas shoes it made me think about my mom who I lost when I was 7 Now over 40 years later The first time I played it this year. I work in radio. It has even more meaning since I lost my dad last month. This song just brings tears to my eyes as I miss my folks that much more. So you negative people who that this song is trash, need to open your heart and your eys to learn about the true meaning of the holidays. It is not about the presents. It's about family.

Actually.... I really enjoy listening to FM STATIC's version of it. I 've never heard the original, so, i'll check it out. You should check out 'His Favorite Christmas Story' by Capital Lights. It's not bad.

Any list that doesn't include the enormously stupid Snoopy/Red Baron and the Christmas Shoes song is not a list of the worst Christmas songs. Christmas Shoes is schmaltzy, exploitive, cheesy and annoying. It's good other than that.

The Band Aid song is kind of stupid when you think about it. When they say "do they know it's Christmas time at all?" makes me laugh because about 75% of Africans are Muslim--not Christians--meaning they do not celebrate Christmas

Umm, actually, the song is about Ethiopia, which is predominantly Christian.
However, for that reason, the song is still laughable, because they *do* know that it's Christmas, since they *are* celebrating.
