File this, charitably, under Good Intentions. The cream of the U.K. pop crop -- including Bob Geldof and the guy from Spandau Ballet -- banged this out in one 24-hour session. Unfortunately, despite the heroic tub-thumping of Phil Collins, it sounds like it. And -- with lyrics like "Tonight thank God it's them, instead of you" -- you can't exactly take it out caroling.

I'd have to say The Pretenders' version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is the worst for me... Like nails on a chalkboard! A close second is Jessica Simpson's "I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus".

mmmhhh... I don't know - I'm quite irritated - Where is Wham's "Last Christmas" on this list?! This is one of the most terrible Christmas songs ever!

Oh, come on. Just because it's a Christmas song, it doesn't have to be annoyingly cheery. It's bad enough that you hear different versions of the same songs over and over and over again. But to put down a song because it illuminates the fact that most people are selfish? Really? I mean, how many times have you asked for a Christmas present in your life? Were you thinking of people who are literally starving to death in another country? People who have no concept of the Ode to Consumerism that is Christmas? I didn't think so.

I got the 45 to this one in the 80's and like the song and the message it is try to send out. I don't konw anyone that would put down this song. unless they don't care for anyone but themself and that is sad. I sorry that your saff makes bad choice on this list, but they do. maybe someday they will learn to listen to the comments placed here and admit they where wrong in some of there choices. cause over 50% of there list have poor judgement in some of the choices. name this the worst when they should be on the best or maybe just left off ethier lists altogeather. I think that someone with a divrese backgroung in music and open to pubic in put in some of there choices could make for better list if the public got involed.

Anything sung by the Chipmunks should be #1. If you don't agree with me go work in a toy store at holiday season and see if you don't feel like ramming a nail into both ears rather then hear that crap one more time.

This is the worse Christmas song? This is no.1? Wrong! There are much worse. This list and them that made it up just did it as a joke and for Entertainment value. Well back to the real world. Have fun. Or don't. YOU have to make your own choices. Don't ever let someone else make it for you.
