When Billy Corgan shrieks about feeling like a rat in a cage, he's a voice of authenticity. When he sings about the tender feelings he has for tots fawning over their presents, it's ... creepy. How close are we letting him to these kids, anyway?

The Pumpkins have a wide variety of songs. Some are hard like Rat in a Cage. Some are soft like Thirty Three. If the reviewer knew anything about the band, Christmastime wouldn't seem like such a strange song for the "big bad scary" Pumpkins to be playing. It's a typical Adore era song.

Vince Gill's Christmas CD is the most beautiful I've heard in a long time. Especially his version of "I'll have a Blue Christmas" Brings me to tears. The background music is absolutly the best......

I love the Pumpkins and my kids love this Christmas song. They are under the age of 9 and I don't limit them to kidz-pop. Why don't we just enjoy music instead of picking it apart. It is really pretty if you listen with your heart.

I love this song and I love the Smashing Pumpkins.
(And I'm over 50!) They sing it very tender genuine. It is on my top 10 favorite Christmas song list!

Why is everyone getting so defensive?
No one is knocking Billy Corgan OR the band...
But certain bands and artists should stay away from holiday music.
