--No Doubt (1997)

Covering the Vandals no doubt shored up Gwen's punk cred, and the storyline -- Hadji the Punk and Trevor the Skinhead learning to live together in harmony -- just warms the old cockles every time. But there's something about making a cutesy play on the phrase "Joy to the World" using the skinhead's "Oi!" that just doesn't sit right.

Oi! was meant to bring punks and skinheads together. So the play on words makes a lot of sense.

I love how Bruce Springsteen is on this list and Mariah Carey isn't. Bruce's version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" is timeless. While Mariah's "All I Want for Christmas" is absolutely stupid and annoying as hell. Whoever created this list should try and get some decent taste in music=)

I'm sorry but a list that doesn't have I saw mommy kissin santa clause is a horrible list of worst holiday songs. You try hearing 5 different versions of that song in one day and sometimes they are repeat the same one several times a day!

I was hoping they wouldnt mention this song! It one of my favorite No Doubt covers. Come on people its ska, its not meant to be heart warmning!

Anyone that disses Gwen seriously needs there head examined, for one, and two, No Doubts "Oi to the World" is one of my favorite christmas songs! I have the Merry Axemas CD, and every year I put up the Christmas tree while listening to it!
