Sexed Up Singer Asked to Play Virgin Mary

Admittedly, a lot of people tend to exclaim "Mother of God!" when getting wind of Britney Spears' increasingly disturbing escapades -- a chorus that French movie producer Phillippe Rebboah apparently misunderstood in a mighty big way. Rebboah, who obviously believes that 'tis the season to be blasphemous, has approached the singer -- who's in the running for Worst Mother of 2007 -- to return to the big screen as a modern-day version of the Best Mother of Year One. Yes, the producer thinks that Britney would be the ideal actress to play a reimagined Virgin Mary in a satirical film titled 'Sweet Baby Jesus.' This version of the tale takes place in Bethlehem, Maryland -- presumably to avoid the wrath of the good people of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania -- and features a virgin birth that takes place on Christmas Eve. While we'll grant that we don't always tend to our immortal soul as well as we could, we'd probably trade our usual Diet Pepsi for an extra-large holy water should we get invited to a screening of such a flick -- since Rebboah is probably twisted enough to try to cast Verne Troyer in the title role.

ok i don't agree with this at all but i can see where she is tryin to be a role model...maybe something that she isn't so good at but hey, if that is what she wants to do then i say give her a chance. everybody deserves a second chance and with all the crap that has been going on with her i say why not?

The only worse choice would have been Madonna, the most blatant female blasphemer ever to hit the planet. Remember how in her video, she had sex on a church pew, with a statue of the crucified Jesus as a backdrop, and how she pushed a statue of Mary off the dresser? Raised a Catholic, now an apostate, shame, shame. She's anti-Catholic and Anti-Christian. Britney's just a self-centered, no-brained klutz who doesn't deserve children.

Let Brittney portray some other religious figure than in the Christian faith. I vote for Muslim. If they can jail some one for naming a teddy bear Moe-ham-id, imagine what they'd do for portraying one of their holy woman. Oh, that's right, women don't count in that religion. They're below the animals.

OMG are you kidding please tell me that the reporter's are trying to be comediens(spelling). She cant evern take care of the children she gave birth to let alone Baby Jesus. OH PLEASE TELL ME THIS ISN'T A LIVE SHOW WITH A REAL BABY. If so the CPS should be there also. If not real and a fake baby she should stil have CPS there cause she might influance the BABY DOLL. Thank God she isn't the real mary could you imagine what kind of HELL the world would be in right now.

To the person who said "religion is at the root of all evil". Correction for you: PEOPLE are at the root of all evil. We all have the choice to do good or evil. That is where self-control comes in. We should never blame anyone else for our actions. We are each responsible and accountable to God for what we do.
God is a loving God. Those who believe in only a so-called "vengeful" God are showing that they really don't know Him or want to know Him. But God wants to know you. Once again, you have a choice. Life is about choices. We all have the right to our opinions and beliefs and we can choose to believe the Bible or not.
Romans 10:9 "For if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
