Coldplay to Tour in 2008

Colplay, who have been steadily releasing tidbits about their forthcoming follow-up to 2005's 'X&Y,' have announced that while they're still wrestling with songs, they are already planning out their 2008 tour.

"We're trying to pull all the threads together and get these songs (and all the hoopla that goes with them) ready to present to the big wide world," the band wrote on their Web site. And it appears that frontman and daddy of two, Chris Martin, is working at a feverish rate to pull it all off. "Chris just keeps on writing ..." the post continues. "He's shown five new songs in the last two days. I seriously don't know when he sleeps."

The band is also offering a stream of their cover of the Pretenders' '2000 Miles' because, as they put it, "every time they try to write [their own Christmas song], it's awful." Listen to it here.
