Say what you will about the man's inability to finish an album in less than a half-century, but never underestimate Axl Rose's flair for generating police action. The Guns N' Roses frontman is so good at agitation that he managed to stir up a good chunk of the Roxbury, Connecticut force without being anywhere near the Nutmeg state. A school custodian, channeling the spirit of the slowest working man in show business, commandeered a public address system to deliver a zesty karaoke version of 'Welcome to the Jungle.' The unidentified gent, who was working after hours, didn't know he had an audience -- comprised of one teacher who got more than a little upset to hear a disembodied voice warning her "you're in the jungle, baby/ you're gonna die!" The school-marm called cops in to investigate the perceived death threat, and after about 15 minutes in cuffs, the custodian was freed and will not face charges. We'd imagine he'll also be blamed for traumatizing Rose enough to delay 'Chinese Democracy' another 18 months or so.
