New York Meets Berlin on the Dance Floor

Back in 2004, brooklyn-based techno head Deepak Sharma quietly unveiled a dark, minimal late-night soundtrack called 'Boogaloo. Brooklyn. 3:23pm,' to insider acclaim. Having used a key track from German producer Dieter Krause on the handpicked mix compilation, Sharma and Krause started "an innocent exchange of music files," Sharma told Spinner. The pair started producing and touring together in support of their Hidden Recordings 12-inch releases. 'Club of Millionaires' is the most recent release, featuring the minimal banger 'Gotham Nights' in addition to the mid-tempo late-night groove of 'A Stroll Through Central Park.' Taking advantage of technology by producing remotely, the duo has been making its mark on opposite sides of the globe, churning out tunes in the vein of Lusine and Superpitcher.
