Lily Allen Is Pregnant

OK, so like, babies are totally the new handbag. Seriously though. Look at Nicole Richie. Christina Aguilera. J.Lo. Sheryl Crow. Amy Winehouse admits to wanting one. Britney Spears has two under her belt while it was announced on Tuesday that her sister, Jamie Lynn, is now pregnant. See what you started, Angelina? Nevertheless, it's with open arms that Club Knocked Up welcomes Lily Allen, who is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Ed Simons, 37, of the Chemical Brothers."As the pregnancy is at a very, very early stage, the couple ask that you respect their privacy," the 22-year-old singer's rep said in a statement. "The couple will be making no further comment but they are obviously both thrilled by the news."
Meanwhile, Allen is currently working on the follow-up to her 2006 Grammy-nominated debut, 'Alright, Still,' which was previously scheduled for release in 2008. Despite rumors to the contrary, the album will hit shelves on time. "Lily's new album will be released as planned next year," her rep confirmed.
