The song's driving rhythm section and fuzzed-out, swirly-twirly guitars will remind you of shoegaze legends My Bloody Valentine. But Kazu Makino's otherworldly vocals makes it straight magic. Her eerie, soaring lyrics about the conflicts of love and life, layered over her incessant "na-na-na-na-na-na-na" mantra, render the song almost transcendent in its chant-like repetition.
