Also known as: the one that sounds like the Magnetic Fields. But that's only because both Springsteen and indie-pop virtuoso Stephin Merritt worship at the First Church of Phil Spector under the spiritual guidance of Rev. Scott Walker. Truth be told, this is just the late-middle-age version of Springsteen's youthful fascination with idealized female beauty, grounded by the sad wisdom that only his head will be the one turning and not hers.
