Fans of Keller Williams who made the journey to Jamaica last week for Caribbean Holidaze -- a unique destination festival held on adjacent all-inclusive resorts -- got more than a pair of concerts by the multi-talented one-man band; They got to experience Williams as a person. As with all of the other artists, Williams was out and about, mingling with the crowd as he watched other performances and as he enjoyed all of the amenities of the two resorts, Hedonism III and Breezes. But the real treat was on Sunday, when fans were given the opportunity to sign-up for an afternoon of water skiing with Williams. "It was a little bizarre because of all the coral reefs that exist around there," Williams told Spinner. "It was challenging after not having water skied or wake-boarded in awhile. It was definitely a lot of fun and we had a great time."Other artist-fan interactions included ping-pong, golf and poker tournaments, as well as a glass-bottom boat cruise. When Williams returned from his afternoon activity, he found his way back to the stage for a sit-in with fellow musicians Umphrey's McGee. "I think it's a great concept to break down the walls between artist and fans," Williams said. "I am a music lover. I am a music fan. I have a lot in common with these people that come to see me -- I'm one of them. So I think it's a great thing to touch base with them, and you can't think of a better environment to do that in than a situation like in Jamaica."
