Singer Seeks Solace in Sharks and Canadian Rockers

We're not exactly sure what right-thinking rehab center would stock 'Hammer of the Gods' on its library shelves, but apparently one of the clinics recently frequented by Amy Winehouse did just that -- inspiring the distressed singer to seek solace in the realm of sharks on her road to recovery. Winehouse hasn't employed the critters in quite the same way legend would have it that Jimmy Page and company did, but she has allegedly been spending her fair share of time swimming amongst them while unwinding at a Caribbean villa owned by Bryan Adams -- giving us nightmares about a movie-theme duet sometime down the road.

According to a British tabloid report, Ms. Winehouse decided to get in touch with her inner Richard Dreyfuss in an effort to "get high on life" -- something we'd have thought she'd have a doctorate in by now. She's quoted as saying the snorkeling-with-sharks experience has taught her "to appreciate simple things, like the beauty of nature, and it's taught me to face my fears." We'd imagine waking up to the strains of 'Everything I Do, I Do It For You' has helped that latter effort along as well.
