Stephen Stills Recovering From Surgery
Legendary singer-songwriter Stephen Stills of Crosby, Stills & Nash underwent surgery on his birthday, January 3, for prostate cancer. Stills' wife, Kristen, released a statement after the procedure saying it "went remarkably well and he couldn't be better." Stills' condition was announced by bandmate Graham Nash on December 17, in a telephone interview on 'Larry King Live.'
Meanwhile, the singer is still scheduled to appear at the premiere of the biographical indie film 'CSNY / Deja vu', directed by fellow Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young performer Neil Young, at the Sundance Film Festival on January 25. He is expected to return home today.

I was completely floored when I heard that Stephen Stills had cancer. I was one of those 13 year old screaming fans over 40 years ago. I Stephen recovers fully and hope never to learn the worst. It would be a great tragedy and extremely heartbreaking for those of us who have loved him so dearly for so long.
