Earlimart Bring 'Mentor Tormentor' to the Interface

Earlimart -- Aaron Espinoza and Ariana Murray -- made their way into our New York studio to lay down four bare-bones numbers from their latest album, 'Mentor Tormentor.' After offering up rare takes of their melancholy pop, the Los Angeles band sat down to chat up their involvement with the Ship Collective, their love for Depeche Mode and Earlimart's musical evolution. "As we got older we integrated a piano into the song writing," Espinoza tells Spinner. "Once you throw in the piano, it changes everything."
