As far as it being her parents, Parents can't be blamed for everything their adult children do. We raise them to the best of our ability, but in this case these parents should have stepped in to help her. This women needs a loving guided hand to help her get the help it seems she so desperately needs. Mental illness is something I believe she needs to have evaluated. I pray she gets the help she needs. It's a shame the whole world has to be brought into her despair, Thank god the kids aren't old enough to realize the distruction of yet another young mother.The media needs to allow this girl some privacy to get the care she so obvisouly needs.

People need to stop slamming her. She IS mentally ill and more than likely bipolar. Her x-hubby is no better. Those kids need to be in a Foster home or with a relative who is down to earth, NOT her mother.
She is way beyond a spoiled brat, publicity stunts and the like. She really does need professional help or someone is going to die. If she is bipolar and taking pills, liquor etc then she is making that condition worse. Look beyond what you see as her being a spoiled Hollywood brat. Don't just look at the cover, open the pages and read. She is ill and in no shape to take care of anyone, especially herself.

I have to say, I was really touched by the comment Tori Amos made. Trump is also right, this looks just like the Anna Nicole tragedy.
It's a little Michael Jackson and a touch of Elvis and a little bit of the trailer park down the road.
She does need someone's good mom. She doesn't need Dr. Phil's exploitation. Who's going to do it in this country? I think she needs Christ, no Kabala. I think she needs a true spiritual community and not Hollywood or obsessed fans. Anyone who's a Christian please pray for Britney. We're all she has.

Thank you for a sensible message. Her mother has not been there for her through this but I am sure has benefited from her wealth. Hopefully when she is well she will recognize and chose carefully who she stays in contact with in her family. Now her little sister is trash talking her.. and doesn't want to be like her but hmmmm pregnant at 16? You are already past where Brit was at that age..good luck on the golden road! Sure Mommy will protect you!

The world has been compassionate to her woes in the past, but she has pushed way past the limits of understanding, compassion and empathy. She is trying to out-do Madonna in the shocker department and she has really lost it. She's a publicity hog, plain and simple, and will do anything to keep her no-talent name splashed all over the world. Too bad she's doing this at the expense of her own children. She has been given choices over and over and she's made the choice she wants - to be the most outrageous freak on the planet.
