Rock Almanac: January 16, 2008

On This Date in 1980: Paul McCartney is arrested in Tokyo by customs agents for marijuana possession. He spends 10 days in jail before being released and deported.

The Almanac Advises for January 16: "If you choose to transport your crops to the big city, be certain to give them to a farmhand to tote."
