Despite Amy Winehouse's personal turmoil, the Grammy-nominated soulstress might actually make an appearance in Los Angeles for music's biggest night. While word on the street suggests that Winehouse will be a no-show at the February 10 ceremony due to visa troubles, members of the Dap-Kings band are still planning to make their way West for the performance."Where it stands now is we are booked to play with her," Dap-King member Tommy Brenneck tells Spinner. "She's bailed on us before so it wouldn't be a surprise, but I'm hoping for the best. Also, because [Mark] Ronson is trying to put that after party together with everyone: the Dap-Kings -- with both Amy and Sharon Jones -- the Budos Band with Wale and the Menahan Street Band with Jay-Z. Let's just hope the Grammys don't get canceled because of the writers' strike."

Mark Ronson did an amazing job producing Amy's "Love is a Losing Game". I'm just a fan of that style of ballad and Amy sings like a true veteran of that era, only better. She made her opinions known about certain aspects that were totally valid and I don't care what kind of personal problems she's having. The music's the thing and I applaud her. I hope she lives to realize her dreams and will eventually look back and laugh about these times. The song is KING as is the music. Now I'm interested in hearing more of her stuff ( just less of the rehab shit )
Go find your star Amy! It's out there waiting for you.
