John Legend Performing In-Flight Concert + More

- John Legend will perform an 30-minute in-flight acoustic show for 50-60 contest winners aboard a Grammy-branded, Delta Boeing 757. The flight leaves New York on February 7 and will fly to the awards' home: L.A. The Grammys -- which celebrate their 50th anniversary this year -- will air February 10 on CBS.
- In other Grammy news, both the Foo Fighters and Beyonce say they will attend the awards despite the ongoing strike by Hollywood writers. "Beyonce has been asked to participate and will do so," her manager/father Mathew Knowles said. "We have an incredible performance that will be announced soon. We wish the Grammys the best."
- Pete Townshend made a surprise appearance at Eels' Mark E. Everett's solo London show on Thursday night. The performance found the Who guitarist readin g a passage from E's new book, 'Things the Grandchildren Should Know.'
- Clap Your Hands Say Yeah will donate proceeds from their January 22 concert at New York's Bowery Ballroom to the city's chapter of Planned Parenthood.
