On This Date in 1952: Kiss singer-guitarist Paul Stanley -- bestowed the name Stanley Harvey Eisen by his parents, William and Eva Eisen -- was born in New York.The Almanac Advises for January 20: "When getting dolled up for your big night out, remember to go sparingly on the makeup and avoid sporting an overdone hairdo or a flashy wardrobe. While such a garish appearance may attract a lot of boys, it will attract the wrong kind."
