On This Date in 2004: The Recording Industry Association of America files copyright infringement lawsuits against 532 computer users. In the suits, the record industry accuses these defendants of illegal file sharing.The Almanac Advises for January 21: "Hunters should be fully aware of the rules of firearm safety: 1) Be absolutely certain you have identified the target beyond a doubt; 2) Never fire in a direction in which there is any potential for mishap; 3) Always keep your gun pointed in a safe direction to avoid shooting yourself in the foot, for example."
