One-half of Thrice -- Dustin Kensrue and Teppei Teranishi -- dropped by our New York studio to rock a scaled back version their larger-than-life experimental rock. Beyond belting out two tracks from their 'The Alchemy Index Vols. I & II,' Kensrue and Teppei also offered up a preview of a new tune, titled 'Come All You Weary,' which appears on the Spring 2008-due 'The Alchemy Index Vols. III & IV.'"The idea was to have four separate discs, each one themed to the four classic elements, Earth, air, fire and water," Kensrue explains of 'The Alchemy Index' project.
"Fire is the heavier one," Teppei elaborates. "Water is most electronic, while Earth is very stripped down," Kensrue adds.
