Well then, I'll probably feel sorry for him when Harlow gets old enough to use the internet and finds out what an ax wound her mommy was (and for all intents and purposes likely still is). She'll probably run away from home or kill herself... I would.

ali obiyo - Then you are a self-centered child that can't even comprehend the love a person feels for their child. Relationships these days are like sand in the wind... but that baby is a part of his soul that will remain long after Nicole is a memory. My guess is that Nicole probably feels the same way. That takes nothing away from their relationship, it's just the purity you will never have in a sexual relationship.

I think what Joel ment...if you have children you would understand...is that the love of his daughter is so much more different than the love of another person, say wife, girlfriend, etc. I honestly believe Joel is in love with Nic, but the love he has for Harlow will always be different than any other love he may ever have. It's a parent thing, not a dig at Nicole.
