No good mother could possibly be so overwhelmed with depression, grief, or mental illness that causes her to make bad choices regarding her children. A good mother would be able to set aside her feelings for the sake of her children. The very day you become a mother, you are instantly equipped with a new type of wisdom and God given power to rise above any personal pain so you can always make the right decision. I actually believed that kind of crap before I had kids. Anyone who thinks good mother's don't screw up is just plain ignorant because they don't have kids yet.
