- Renowned Beatles guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the man who brought transcendental meditation to the West, died Tuesday. He was thought to be 91.
- The White Stripes are being sued for $70,000 for using a sample on their song 'Jumble Jumble,' off their 2000 album 'De Stijl.' Former Quebec radio host Dominique Payette alleges the 10-second clip was taken from her radio show and used without permission.
- Amy Winehouse was questioned by police following a video that surfaced featuring the embattled singer allegedly smoking crack. A spokesperson for the Scotland Yard confirmed that Winehouse was interviewed by authorities in relation to unlawful possession of a controlled drug.
- Jennifer Lopez's father, David Lopez, confirmed that the singer and her husband, singer Marc Anthony, were expecting twins. "Yes, twins," he told Escandalo TV. "The thing is in my family, my sister also had twins, so it's a hereditary thing. I'm very proud. Jennifer has yearned to be a mother for many years." The singer/actress/dancer is due any day now.
