In context, this lyric makes sense. It's about living life for yourself instead of trying to live through other. The whole song is about living life to the fullest, so when considered as a part of the song, this line isn't that bad.

lisen to the whole song and it doesn't sound bad at all it's saying how you have to live your own life.

I'm confused as to why there are no Nickelback lyrics on here. Literally everyone of their lyrics sucks.
