On This Date in 1979: Rod Stewart's single 'Da Ya Think I'm Sexy,' from his album 'Blondes Have More Fun,' reaches No. 1 on the Billboard charts, where it stays for four weeks.

The Almanac Advises for February 10: "The stereotype of the 'dumb blonde' can be avoided if, as a person with blond hair, you accentuate other parts of your personality other than your supposed sexiness or desirability. Try showing off your intellect or your skills and talents instead."
