    Best Band Logos: No. 13

    ABBA

As the band's name is an acronym for the two couples in the group -- Agnetha & Björn, and Benny & Anni-Frid -- Swedish designer Rune Söderqvist wanted the two B's to face each of their respective partner A's.

This survey needs to have the top 50 logos. ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, and others from the 70's should be in the top 10. I am not happy with this top 25.

You have ABBA, but not Chicago, Journey, or STYX. What, are you on crack, or just don't really know good music!?!?!?

It's not about the music. It's about the LOGO. You don't have to like the band to like the logo and vice versa.

I wish people on the comments for this list would get that straight.

As for this logo... One of the best and most recognizable. I still prefer the NIN logo, though. ;o)

    ABBA rocks!!!!

One of the BEST logos in music history...and bands too. Should have been in Top 5...also Carpenters, Heart, Chicago, Blondie, Def Leppard, Queen, .....why are there so many "no name" bands who are hardly even known on this list???
Looks like an 80's CBGB's club list of "where are they now"...

Other band's logos maybe fancier and more graphic, but nothing beats the simple elegance of the ABBA logo.

I agree with you but it's not a list about the music, it's about the logos.

COME ON, one of the best logos in music history? The Carpenters and Blondie in the top 5??? Why is fancy lettering so awesome? I don't think you understand this list.

It's just classic, that's why it's on the list. And I totally agree, where are Styx, Def Leppard and other great logos?
