    Best Band Logos: No. 2

    The Rolling Stones

Though often purported to have been designed by Andy Warhol, actually British graphic artist John Pasche devised the "tongue and lips" motif in 1970. The logo was inspired not just by Mick Jagger's famous mouth but also that of the Hindu goddess Kali.

It really angers me that people say the Rolling Stones are better than Zeppelin. The Stones are a bunch of bitches who change there style with the turn of every century, just so they can keep up with the new trend. Its bullshit i hate them. And also, there's no mention of Pink Floyd anywhere... thats outragous.

First of all if you do not like us then do not listen.'
They do have Pink Floyd there I guess you missed it. I do believe our logo should have first.

Eddie from Iron Maiden has to be on this list. It identified the band as much as the music did.

Problem is that Eddie isn't a logo. Eddie's a mascot. But yeah, the Maiden logo is better than this one.

It's ridiculous that people are bickering over which band was better here. Who the hell gives a flying fuck? If you're going to argue that shit, argue it where it matters. This is a list of LOGOS you dumbass retards. Is everyone on here still in high school, and in the Special Ed program?

No argument here. It's a classic, that is for sure. Too bad they didn't have this logo from day 1 like some of the other great bands/logos.
