As befitting the band's horror-punk sound and image, the skull motif was appropriated from a poster for the movie serial 'The Crimson Ghost,' and the typeface mirrors the logo of the movie magazine Famous Monsters of Filmland.

Should be #1 if only for the fact that it's so iconic... you still see it everywhere. Also a great band to boot. You 12 year-olds who are bashing it have no idea wtf you're talking about. Go listen to some more mallpunk and jerk each other off.
