Rock Almanac: February 15, 2008

On This Date in 1961: R&B singer Jackie Wilson is shot and injured by Juanita Jones, one of the two women he has been seeing. The Detroit native known as "Mr. Excitement" loses a kidney as a result.

The Almanac Advises for February 15: "Jealousy in a relationship can trigger feelings of anger, anxiety, fear, hatred and loneliness. Irrational thoughts can overtake the jealous mind and lead to drastic actions."
