U2 Hit the Studio + More

- U2 have entered the studio with Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois to continue recording their forthcoming album. A release date for the effort has yet to be set. Meanwhile, the Irish rockers contributed to a charity single, titled 'The Ballad of Ronnie Drew,' which will benefit the Irish artist of the same name, who is suffering from cancer.
- Pink and husband Carey Hart announced their separation after two years of marriage. "This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," Pink's representative, Michele Schweitzer, said in a statement. "While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."
- The Hot Boys were all set to reunite in their hometown when shots were fired outside the popular New Orleans nightclub Dream, forcing the venue to close its doors early Monday morning. According to police, two women and one man were shot outside the club at around 1 a.m. All three victims were taken to a local hospital and are expected to recover.
- J. Holiday and Trey Songz will hit the road for a joint North American tour, beginning February 25 in Chicago, and wrapping March 23 in San Francisco.
