Rufus Wainwright Playing Candle-Lit Show + More

- Rufus Wainwright will play a candle-lit show in New York City on March 19 to raise awareness for Blackoutsabbath, an energy conservation initiative conjured by the singer-songwriter that proposes a 12-hour blackout on June 21.
- Robert Plant and Alison Krauss announced the dates for their joint U.S. jaunt, which is set to kick off on April 19 in Louisville, Kentucky. Following a brief European tour, the duo will continue their stateside trek through July 1.
- Kate Nash will kick off a North American tour in support of her debut album, 'Made of Bricks,' beginning April 15 in Atlanta. The jaunt is set to wrap in San Francisco on May 13.
- Rapper T.I. has designed a t-shirt for Playboy's second annual Rock the Rabbit program. Playboy will offer the limited edition custom T-shirts at www.shopthebunny.com and select Bloomingdales nationwide. Playboy also plans to auction off the original bunny logo shirts to benefit the Rock the Vote organization.

I'm sure that self esteem is, by and large, healthy. However, the fact that Mr. Wainwright appears to believe that he's doing some original seems evidence enough to quash any hope for the moniker of "Genius".
