The Almanac Advises for February 21: "One possible cause of the phenomenon known as 'air rage' or 'sky rage' is fluctuations in cabin air pressure. Especially after a long flight, temporary psychological changes may occur in passengers, affecting their moods adversely. Common techniques to minimize these adverse effects during a flight include avoiding alcohol and caffeine, performing stretching exercises, and drinking plenty of water to avoid dehydration."
