Back in the day this was so true. They were the best. I saw them in concert 9 times. Some dates (in Miami) they played two nights because the first night sold out. So they sold out two nights! This happenedtwice that I remember. I went both nights. Sooo cool. The first time I saw them was with Ozzy. It was love at first sight.

(sigh....) gotta love that Diamond Dave. I've always been a huge fan of his.....I know that he can be an arrogant as*hole, but there's just something about him...like a naughty boy with his hand caught in the cookie jar. You just have to shake your head and laugh. Van Halen just wasn't Van Halen after he left...I quit listening to them.

Alot of people still living in the past I recon. I never kept up with Van Halen enough to know David Lee Roth was in the band. I can't remember one song sung by the group. So they must not sound that good to me.
