I dont know if he could be considered a legend, but a lot of his music has stood the test of time and some of it is a lot better than people gave them credit for. But a lot of these comments are really nasty and uncalled for. He DID die a sad death. Just because he slept with other guys doesnt mean he was a bad person. His statement was that "I won't be a rock star, I will be a legend," and as I and every Freddy Mercury/Queen fan see it he is both. He will forever be missed, but his music and talent will live on.
