I walked out on one of his concerts at Carnegie Hall back in the 80's. I was so looking forward because i had always loved his voice & him! he was the most offensive crass egomaniac i've ever seen & he wasn't joking. He was saying vile things about women & putting down the people protesting aparteid.
I was shocked & very disappointed.
