On This Date in 1992: Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love take their wedding vows on Hawaii's Waikiki Beach.

The Almanac Advises for February 24: "While the concept behind the 'destination wedding' is a romantic one, it may also be a sign of excess and misplaced priorities in a marriage. The wedding industry have placed so many expectation on the couple -- especially the bride-to-be -- to have the perfect nuptials that there is a risk of her transforming into the stereotypically demanding and entitled caricature known as a 'Bridezilla.'"
