- R.E.M., the Cure, Modest Mouse and Death Cab for Cutie are among the headliners for this year's Sasquatch! Music Festival, which will be held at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington on May 24-26. Other artists scheduled to perform are the Flaming Lips, New Pornographers and M.I.A.
- Madonna reported for jury duty on Monday at the Beverly Hills Courthouse, just hours after her Oscar aftery-party. There's no information as to how long the singer is expected to serve.
